Why did I choose Apulia?

From Vietnam to Apulia, without contacts, without a safety net. A leap across the big pond that I have not regretted to this day.

In 2017, I chose Apulia because there are no known natural disasters here like in other parts of Italy, no earthquake hotspots, no floods, no high mountains that could sweep my house away with landslides. I wanted to start anew, without the risk of losing everything I had painstakingly built up.

Mild temperatures in winter, great diverse beaches with two coasts to choose from, the Ionian and the Adriatic coasts.

I then opted for the Adriatic side because it seemed more vibrant to me year-round, and the landscape is much more varied.
